# Connect with MetaMask

Step 1: Open Metamask, click on Network icon

Step 2: Click "Add a custom network"

Step 3: Fill the neccessary information into the input boxes then click 'Save'

This is an example for chain Sonic

**Network name**: Sonic

**New RPC URL**: <https://rpc.soniclabs.com>

**Chain ID**: 146

**Currency symbol**: S

**Block explorer URL** (Optional): <https://sonicscan.org/>

Step 4: Click "Save" and switch to the chain
